Job summary

MongoDB Atlas seeks a Senior Engineer for the Identity and Access Management (IAM) team. You will design and deliver core IAM services, lead architecture efforts, and mentor teammates while advancing secure, scalable authentication and authorization across Atlas.

Based remotely in the United States, you’ll work on backend systems (Java/Go/C#/C++) and frontend tech (JavaScript/TypeScript, React). Strong communication and a passion for solving security problems are essential.

Qualifications

• 5+ years experience in software engineering, backend focus.
• Proficiency in a modern compiled language (Java, Go, C#, C++, etc.).
• Willingness to learn JavaScript/TypeScript and frontend tech (React, Redux).
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Collaborative and mentoring mindset.

Responsibilities
