Job summary

Bank of America in Chicago is seeking a Senior Identity and Access Management (IAM) Specialist to lead access provisioning across a complex enterprise environment, ensuring secure, compliant, and efficient access to systems and data with a focus on least privileged access.

The ideal candidate will have deep expertise with Active Directory, Microsoft Azure, AWS, Mainframe, Oracle, SQL databases and file/storage systems, plus scripting for automation.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of progressive experience in Identity and Access Management.
• This role requires a solid technical understanding of Infrastructure Architecture engineering solution design experience, defining technical requirements for Security Administration access capabilities.
• Deep technical expertise in Active Directory, Microsoft Azure AWS, Mainframe, Oracle Database, SQL Server, Windows and Unix file systems, and enterprise storage.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design, implementation, and ongoing management of access provisioning solutions across enterprise platforms.
• Serve as SME for Active Directory, Microsoft Azure, AWS, Mainframe, Oracle and SQL databases, file systems and enterprise storage with focus on least privileged access.
• Develop and maintain access control policies, group structures, and RBAC models.
• Collaborate with application owners, infrastructure teams, and stakeholders to define access requirements.
• Drive automation to streamline provisioning workflows and integrate with HR systems and IAM controls.
• Conduct regular access reviews and entitlement audits to ensure compliance.
• Investigate and remediate access-related incidents with security and risk teams.
• Provide technical leadership and mentoring to IAM team members.
• Stay current with IAM tech, regulations, and best practices.
• Present metrics and recommendations to leadership and audit teams.
