Job summary

United Bank is seeking a Cyber – Identity, Cloud, and Application Security professional to join our security team in Raleigh, NC. You will lead identity and access initiatives, align controls with regulatory frameworks, and collaborate across technology and business units to reduce risk.

The ideal candidate has 5–8 years of hands-on IAM, cloud security, and regulatory compliance experience, with strong communication skills to translate complex concepts into business insights.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Security, Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field or equivalent experience.
• 5–8 years in cybersecurity, IAM, or cloud security, preferably in financial/regulatory environments.
• Strong knowledge of IAM concepts: SSO, MFA, federation, RBAC/ABAC.
• Experience with Microsoft Entra ID (Azure AD) and Active Directory; cloud identity integrations.
• Hands‑on experience with IAM/PAM tools: SailPoint, CyberArk, Delinea, or Okta.
• Familiarity with cloud security, especially Microsoft Azure environments.
• Understanding FFIEC, NIST, CIS benchmarks and applying them to identities and access controls.
• Experience analyzing security data and logs to identify anomalies and threats.
• Strong problem solving, analytical, and communication skills.
• Certifications (CISSP, CISM, Azure Security Engineer) preferred.
