FYI - For Your Information, Inc. in Washington, DC is seeking an experienced Industrial/Organizational Psychologist to lead HR research initiatives and provide advisory support for government-grade programs. The role requires advanced degrees and extensive relevant experience.

You will design and validate assessment tools, analyze HR data, prepare reports and briefings, and advise management on workforce policies and strategies. Onsite in DC with a focus on government HRR initiatives.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of relevant experience with a Master's in IO psychology.
• Or 6+ years post-degree with a PhD in IO psychology.
• Strong knowledge of test theory, psychometrics, statistics, and research methods.

Responsibilities

• Participate in research studies to evaluate HR systems and tools.
• Consult with management on conclusions and recommendations.
• Apply test theory, psychometrics, and statistics to HR data analysis.
• Analyze job requirements to support development of HR testing tools.
• Draft revisions of agency policies and procedures for government approval.
• Prepare reports, briefing decks, white papers, and memos.
• Advise on laws and regulations impacting work initiatives.
• Develop and validate personnel assessment tools for selection or promotion.
• Provide project management support and track progress.
• Assist in data collection/analysis using qualitative and quantitative methods.
• Support HRR initiatives through meetings, trainings, and briefings.
• Record arrival/departure times in the agency timekeeping system.
