Williams Companies, Inc. seeks an Instrumentation & Electrical (I&E) Operations Technician II-Sr. to join a safety-focused team.

You will maximize equipment reliability, mentor teammates, and drive improvements across process control systems and instrumentation at multiple facilities. Responsibilities include handling complex maintenance, troubleshooting Allen-Bradley PLCs, and leading system upgrades with a strong safety and efficiency focus.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years in operations, engineering, or energy industry
• Associates or 2-year technical degree preferred, with 5+ years in operations/energy
• Experience with instrumentation troubleshooting, calibration, and maintenance (I&E) incl. low-voltage work

Responsibilities

• Performs complex maintenance and operational tasks for natural gas process equipment and systems
• Minimizes unplanned shutdowns via root cause analyses and corrective actions
• Mentor teammates and share findings with focus on safety and reliability
• Lead system upgrades, control system integrations, and commissioning
• Develops solutions for instrumentation, electronic, and electrical issues to improve safety and efficiency
