UPS Instrument & Electrical Services in Deer Park, TX seeks a Senior I&E Project Manager to lead capital projects from concept to commissioning. Qualifications

• Bachelors in Electrical/Instrumentation Engineering or related discipline.
• 10+ years of PM experience in industrial/utility/energy settings.
• 7+ years managing large capital projects ($10MM+).
• Experience leading substations, HV/MV, instrumentation, SCADA, DCS.
• Strong project controls, scheduling, cost forecasting.
• Experience managing EPC contractors and multiple stakeholders.
• Proficiency with Primavera P6, MS Project, and SAP.
• Excellent leadership, negotiation, communication, and problem-solving.

Responsibilities

• Lead planning and execution of capital projects from concept through commissioning and closeout.
• Manage scope, budget, schedule, risk, procurement, and resources.
• Direct multidisciplinary engineering, construction, and commissioning teams.
• Oversee instrumentation, controls, electrical distribution, substation, switchgear, MCC, and transformers.
• Ensure compliance with electrical codes, safety standards, and procedures.
• Develop execution strategies, work packages, and commissioning schedules.
• Manage EPC contractors, consultants, vendors, and subcontractors.
• Monitor performance through KPIs; implement corrective actions.
• Conduct risk assessments, change management reviews, and forecasting.
• Coordinate equipment procurement, materials management, and mobilization.
• Lead stakeholder communications, project reporting, and executive presentations.
• Collaborate with operations for startup and turnover.
• Champion safety culture and EH&S compliance.
• Mentor junior PMs, engineers, and project controls personnel.
