Qualifications

• Ability to coordinate crews, subcontractors, project personnel, and client representatives.
• Capable of independently managing the onsite I&E scope from field execution through completion and turnover.

Responsibilities

• Manage and oversee all onsite instrumentation and electrical work.
• Provide leadership, direction, and coordination for I&E field personnel.
• Plan daily I&E activities, manpower, materials, and work priorities.
• Review electrical drawings, P&IDs, schematics, loop drawings, specifications, and project requirements.
• Oversee installation of electrical and instrumentation systems and equipment.
• Coordinate testing, calibration, loop checks, inspections, and system turnover activities.
• Monitor field progress, productivity, quality, and schedule performance.
• Identify and resolve I&E field issues and constructability concerns.
• Coordinate with engineering and client representatives regarding technical questions and field changes.
• Ensure I&E work complies with applicable codes, specifications, drawings, procedures, and client requirements.
• Support inspection documentation, system turnover, punch-list completion, and project closeout.
• Ensure work is performed in accordance with company and project safety requirements.

This position will be responsible for the onsite management and oversight of all instrumentation and electrical activities, providing leadership to field personnel and coordinating directly with project management, engineering, quality, safety, and client representatives.

• Strong understanding of electrical systems, equipment, controls, and instrumentation
• Ability to read and interpret P&IDs, electrical drawings, schematics, wiring diagrams, loop drawings, and project specifications
• Knowledge of applicable electrical codes and industry standards
• Strong field leadership, planning, communication, and problem-solving skills
• Ability to effectively coordinate crews, subcontractors, project personnel, and client representatives
• Must be capable of independently managing the onsite I&E scope from field execution through completion and turnover.

We are looking for an experienced I&E professional with strong field leadership experience who can take ownership of the onsite I&E scope and successfully manage the work from execution through project completion.
