Job summary

Westinghouse Electric Company is seeking a Principal Customer Solutions Engineer for the Instrumentation and Controls Systems team in Warrendale, PA. You will lead solution creation, proposals, design, development, and commissioning of I&C systems, reporting to the Customer Solutions Manager for Control Systems.

You will work with customer-facing teams to tailor products to customer specs and budgets, drive strategic relationships, and oversee proposal execution and contract negotiations to

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering.
• 8+ years of experience required.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement product strategy for new and existing products for new markets.
• Collaborate with customer-facing teams to translate market needs into product requirements.
• Create business cases and maintain long-term customer relationships.
• Analyze contract requirements and prepare deliverables for program implementation.
• Lead proposal development and negotiate contracts to maximize profit and revenue.
• Engage in technical meetings with customers and tailor solutions to specs and budgets.
