Job summary

Westinghouse Electric Company is seeking a Principal Project Manager for the Americas Instrumentation and Controls Systems (ICS) team. You will lead digital I&C upgrades, develop technical and commercial inputs for proposals, and oversee delivery with a focus on safety, quality, and profitability.

The role reports to the Project Portfolio Manager and is based at Warrendale, PA, with on-site presence 2–3 days per week.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, or Project Management.
• 5+ years progressive experience leading complex I&C projects in the nuclear industry.
• PMI Project Management Professional (PMP) certification or equivalent is desired or to be completed within 1 year.
• Westinghouse Advanced Project Manager qualification to be completed within a designated time period.

Responsibilities

• Manage scope, schedule, cost, risk, procurement, quality, resources, communications, and stakeholders.
• Ensure compliance with contractual commitments and profitability.
• Lead project planning per Westinghouse PM requirements (WPMR).
• Coordinate communications to inform team, customer, and stakeholders of status.
• Identify opportunities to improve delivery and profitability.
• Provide forecasts for financial performance and demand; manage risk and cost reduction initiatives.
• Collaborate with Contract Managers on requirements changes and growth opportunities.
• Support tendering and sales with execution strategies, schedules, and cost estimates.
