Progressive Design, Inc. is seeking a Senior Instrumentation & Controls Engineer (Process or Electrical) for a full-time onsite role in Midlothian, Virginia. The position focuses on design, modeling, and analysis of I&C systems for heavy industrial projects.

You will develop P&IDs, control narratives, and install details, size valves, and prepare data sheets. NEC/ISA knowledge and PLC/HMI/DCS experience are highly valued as you contribute to schedules and budgets.

Formación

• Requires a Bachelor or Master of Science in Process or Electrical Engineering.
• Professional Engineering registration is highly preferred.
• 5+ years of relevant industrial experience in electrical and instrumentation engineering.
• Knowledge of NEC and ISA standards; ability to lead scope and budgets.

Responsabilidades

• Design, model, and analyze instrumentation and controls for industrial projects.
• Develop P&IDs, control narratives, and installation details.
• Size control valves and develop data sheets for instrumentation and analyzers.
• Develop cost estimates, schedules, and man-hour budgets for projects.
• Act as discipline engineer of record where PE certification is required.
• Coordinate with other disciplines and support drafting and procurement.
