Job summary

NuScale Power, LLC is seeking an experienced Instrument and Control (I&C) Manager within the Plant Systems Engineering group. The role leads a team of engineers responsible for design and analysis of I&C systems for safety and non-safety contexts of the NuScale reactor, including Module Protection and Plant Protection.

The candidate will develop deliverables, manage cross-functional projects, ensure compliance with licensing criteria, and drive performance reviews while interfacing with clients

Qualifications

• Education: B.S. in Engineering; P.E. preferred.
• Experience: 8+ years in I&C engineering or engineering management for complex systems or power plants.

Responsibilities

• Manages a team of professionals and provides guidance on technical work to meet project goals.
• Develops engineering deliverables communicating design and technical aspects of I&C systems.
• Leads system-level and detailed analyses for I&C plant systems and generates specifications for components.
• Contributes to department objectives and work breakdown structures for projects.
• Applies sound problem-solving approaches and leads cross-functional projects within areas of responsibility.
