Job summary

Sargent & Lundy's Nuclear Power Group seeks an experienced I&C Engineer to lead and support control system design for upgraded and new nuclear plants, integrating PLC, DCS, and HSI solutions and coordinating with mechanical, electrical, and structural disciplines.

The role emphasizes technical execution, project management, vendor interface, and delivering clear analyses, reports, and estimates to meet client requirements, with opportunities to contribute to proposals and field implementation.

Qualifications

• BS degree in engineering from an ABET-accredited program.
• 10+ years of experience in I&C design engineering; at least 5 years at a nuclear facility.
• PE license preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead and support control projects with focus on execution and project management.
• Coordinate with mechanical, electrical, and structural disciplines to complete projects.
• Investigate, troubleshoot, and resolve controls engineering issues.
• Prepare and review diagrams, drawings, and technical reports for client requirements.
• Interface with vendors and clients to ensure project success.
