Job summary

NuScale Power, LLC is seeking an experienced I&C Manager in the Plant Systems Engineering group to lead the design and analysis of Instrument and Control systems for the reactor. The role oversees safety and non-safety I&C, Module Protection and Plant Protection, and directs engineering deliverables.

Lead a team of engineers, collaborate across disciplines, and ensure adherence to NRC licensing criteria while advancing high-quality nuclear products in a remote-work capable environment.

Qualifications

• B.S. degree in Engineering; P.E. preferred.
• 8+ years in I&C engineering or management for complex systems or power plants.
• Experience leading staff across disciplines and coordinating interfaces.
• Eligible to work under DOE 10 CFR Part 810.

Responsibilities

• Manage a team of professionals and guide technical work toward project goals.
• Develop engineering deliverables for reactor I&C systems.
• Lead analyses and generate specifications for Module and Plant Protection.
• Develop department objectives and work breakdown structures.
• Provide technical guidance and define statements of work.
• Develop training materials and pursue industry participation.
• Coach team members’ career development and team objectives.
• Coordinate with internal and external clients for project execution.
• Make technical decisions on analysis methodologies and NRC criteria.
• Stay current with industry developments and best practices.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
