Job summary

AECOM in the United States is seeking a Senior Instrumentation & Controls Engineer to join our Mining Project Delivery team. The role leads I&C design and project execution on multi-discipline mining projects.

You will act as discipline lead on mid-size to large projects, develop specs, P&IDs, and data sheets, mentor staff, and coordinate with clients to deliver reliable control systems with a focus on safety and compliance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or related field.
• 8+ years of relevant I&C engineering experience.
• PE license in applicable states preferred.
• Experience with mining project delivery.

Responsibilities

• Lead I&C engineering on mid-size to large mining projects.
• Develop instrument specifications, data sheets, and I/O lists.
• Coordinate multi-disciplinary design efforts and reviews.
• Mentor junior staff and manage technical tasks.
• Interface with clients and develop project proposals.
• Produce P&IDs, control narratives, and wiring diagrams.
