Job summary

Stratolaunch is seeking a Harness Engineer at on-site Mojave, CA to support avionics harness design and production readiness. You will develop wire harness architecture, lead manufacturability reviews, and coordinate with suppliers and internal teams.

The role demands experience in aerospace wiring, LRIP transitions, and a hands-on approach to fabrication, testing, and qualification of flight hardware.

Qualifications

Experience with wire harness design and fabrication in aerospace environments.
Ability to read/read wire schematics and interpret drawings.
Experience transitioning prototype programs to LRIP and manufacturing support.

Responsibilities

Contribute to and work with a diverse team of engineers.
Wire harness architecture, design, and layout.
Create production drawings and ensure manufacturability.
Coordinate procurement and supplier interactions.
Develop harness specifications and test procedures.
Support harness installation, testing, and troubleshooting.
Assist with design/test readiness reviews and program communication.
