Job summary

Stratolaunch seeks an Electrical, Avionics Drafter at levels I–Sr to support design, integration, testing, and maintenance of aircraft electrical and avionics systems at the Mojave, CA site. You will gather requirements, generate wiring diagrams, support shop personnel, and test completed systems.

The role requires knowledge of CAD tools and aerospace hardware, with responsibilities to develop system drawings, BOMs, ICDs, and interface documentation, while collaborating with harness engineers

Qualifications

• Required qualifications include knowledge of electrical engineering, avionics, and aerospace system integration.
• Experience with Aerospace production documentation (drawings and work orders) and with PDM/engineering control and revision release processes.
• Familiarity with aerospace hardware such as connectors, relays, and wire types; ability to communicate technical challenges to varied audiences.

Responsibilities

• Support Avionics and Electrical design efforts and develop engineering documentation.
• Provide shop support to complete modifications of Avionics and Electrical systems.
• Develop test plans and procedures and communicate with leadership.
