Job summary

E2 Optics is seeking a Hyperscale Senior Superintendent to lead field execution on major data-center projects in Columbus, OH. You will translate plans into detailed field strategies, oversee crews, and ensure alignment with drawings, specs, and safety guidelines.

The role requires 8+ years in commercial construction or hyperscale projects, a BS in Construction Management or related field, and advanced certifications such as BICSI, PMP, or RCDD. Travel is required.

Qualifications

8+ years of experience in commercial construction or large data center projects.
Proven track record leading large field operations with minimal oversight.
Proactive risk, schedule, and productivity management at scale.
Expert understanding of hyperscale data center construction and cabling systems.

Responsibilities

Assist the project team with installation activities as needed.
Serve as senior field execution authority for hyperscale projects.
Translate project plans into sequenced field strategies across buildings, zones, or phases.
Anticipate execution challenges related to manpower, access, and schedule.
Drive high-output field performance through disciplined planning.
Lead development and execution of detailed look-ahead schedules and production plans.
Coordinate material requirements, deliveries, staging, and releases for uninterrupted production.
Identify risks weeks ahead and drive mitigation actions.
Partner with scheduling, logistics, and project controls for predictable execution.
Mentor Superintendents and Leads through example and coaching.
