Job summary

Stantec is seeking a Senior Estimator to lead the development, management, and coordination of large multi-discipline cost estimates and construction schedules for water and hydropower projects. You will collaborate with a team of estimators, schedulers, and engineers on complex infrastructure programs worldwide.

The role requires extensive estimating expertise, leadership of cross-discipline teams, and strong client-facing communication.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management or related field.
• Minimum of 10 years in estimating/construction roles.
• Experience with hydropower, water treatment, wastewater or major water infrastructure projects.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate multi-discipline cost estimates and construction schedules.
• Develop detailed estimates for water treatment processes, pumping stations, pipelines and related infrastructure.
• Coordinate input parameters, validate takeoffs, and compile information from estimating disciplines.
• Prepare basis of cost estimate reports and site-specific criteria.
• Interface with clients and stakeholders to ensure estimate defensibility.
