Job summary

The Partners Alliance is seeking a Hydropower Solutions Engineer to lead strategic hydroelectric initiatives across multiple offices in the United States. You will serve as a trusted advisor to customers and internal stakeholders, defining solution strategies and project scopes for large capital and EPC projects.

You will develop repeatable solution frameworks, collaborate with sales, proposal teams, and execution organizations, and stay ahead of industry trends to expand renewable energy

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or equivalent experience.
• 10+ years in the hydroelectric power industry.
• Experience with industrial automation, SCADA, DCS, PLCs.
• Strong communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills.
• Travel up to 20% and US work authorization without sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Serve as technical and industry leader for hydroelectric opportunities through the proposal lifecycle.
• Lead strategic pursuit planning for large and complex hydro projects.
• Collaborate with customers, EPC contractors, and internal stakeholders to define scope and requirements.
• Develop solution architectures for hydro modernization, greenfield, and brownfield projects.
• Assess risks and identify differentiators to improve profitability.
• Partner with proposal teams to develop technical approaches and value propositions.
• Present solution strategies and business benefits to customers and executives.
• Develop standard templates, estimating tools, and technical standards.
• Monitor industry trends and emerging hydro technologies.
