Job summary

VOITH, a global technology leader in hydropower, seeks a Project Manager to own complex projects from handover through closeout. You will interface with customers, subcontractors, and internal teams to deliver safely, on time, and within budget.

This role requires strong commercial acumen, leadership without authority, and the ability to manage multiple large-scale projects simultaneously across engineering, manufacturing, sourcing, logistics, installation, and commissioning.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or equivalent project management background with industry experience.
• Experience managing large, complex industrial projects ($10M–$200M+; multi-year).
• Ownership of full lifecycle delivery from award through commissioning and closeout.
• Experience with budgets, forecasting, profitability, and financial reporting.
• Strong customer-facing and stakeholder management.

Responsibilities

• Lead complex hydropower projects from handover to closeout.
• Own execution profitability, schedule, quality, and customer satisfaction.
• Manage budgets, forecasting, and financial performance; present to senior leadership.
• Develop and control project schedules using best-practice methodologies.
• Collaborate with engineering, manufacturing, sourcing, transportation, installation, and commissioning teams.
• Drive risk, opportunity, change, and claims management across the lifecycle.
• Maintain strong customer relationships and manage expectations.
• Review contracts; ensure compliance with obligations and requirements.
• Oversee project documentation, reporting, and governance.
• Contribute to continuous improvement and standardization of PM processes.
