Job summary

Black & Veatch is seeking a Senior Hydrogeologist/Geologist/Engineer to support its Supply & Hydrogeology team in Texas, with office options in Austin, Houston, Dallas, or San Antonio. The role focuses on water supply development, carbon sequestration, and multidisciplinary project delivery.

You will mentor juniors, manage projects, and collaborate with clients and regulators while advancing subsurface workflows and regulatory compliance across nationwide initiatives.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree or higher in Geology/Geoscience/Hydrogeology or related field.
• 10+ years of experience in geology/hydrogeology with leadership roles.
• Licensed Professional Geologist/Geoscientist or Professional Engineer preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide hydrogeologic, subsurface characterization, and carbon sequestration support for projects.
• Evaluate and interpret geologic and hydrogeologic data.
• Support permitting and regulatory compliance for UIC/CCS projects.
