Job summary

Black & Veatch seeks a Senior Hydrogeologist to support our Texas-based Water Supply & Hydrogeology team. This role emphasizes groundwater supply development, wellfield optimization, and regulatory compliance, with opportunities to mentor early-career professionals and lead multidisciplinary projects nationwide.

The position offers a hybrid work model, collaboration with clients and regulators, and exposure to modeling, aquifer characterization, and water resource design.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Geology, Hydrogeology, or related field.
• 10+ years of hydrogeology or related experience with project leadership.
• Licensed PG or PE or equivalent.
• Experience in aquifer storage, brine management, and regulatory compliance.

Responsibilities

• Provide hydrogeological support for domestic and international projects.
• Interpret geologic and hydrogeologic data.
• Lead junior staff and review technical work.
• Develop project plans, budgets, and resources.
• Ensure regulatory compliance at federal, state, and local levels.
• Mentor and develop staff in technical skills.
• Present findings to clients and stakeholders.
• Support proposals and client strategy meetings.
