CES Consultants, Inc. is seeking an experienced Senior Hydrogeologist to provide technical leadership and field oversight for complex groundwater, subsurface, and deep injection well projects in the West Palm Beach area.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Hydrogeology, Geology, Environmental Science, Civil/Environmental Engineering; advanced degree preferred.
• 8+ years of progressively responsible experience in hydrogeology, groundwater, well construction, or related field.

Responsibilities

• Provide senior level hydrogeologic support for groundwater, subsurface, and deep injection well projects and oversight.
• Review well construction methods, drilling logs, geologic samples, casing and screen installation, cementing/grouting, and completion activities.
• Verify that construction activities conform to approved plans, specifications, permits, and regulatory requirements.
• Coordinate with drilling contractors and construction personnel to resolve field issues and technical challenges.
• Review and interpret geologic, hydrogeologic, geophysical, and data.
• Evaluate aquifer characteristics, groundwater flow, injection zones, confining units, and subsurface conditions.
• Prepare and review technical reports, construction observation reports, well completion reports, hydrogeologic assessments, and regulatory submittals.
• Provide technical direction and mentoring to junior hydrogeologists and field staff.
• Coordinate with clients, regulators, engineers, contractors, and other stakeholders.
• Participate in field investigations, drilling programs, aquifer testing, groundwater monitoring, and other subsurface investigations as needed.
