Arcadis seeks a Senior Hydrogeologist to direct site characterization, data analysis, and conceptual model development for site investigations and remedial evaluations. The role balances hydrogeologic assessment with project scoping, proposal development, and report writing across mining and environmental projects.

The successful candidate will lead teams, communicate findings to clients, and contribute to project planning and execution.

Qualificações

• Bachelor’s Degree in Hydrogeology, Hydrology, or related field
• 10+ years of related experience
• Strong ability to interpret data, identify and address data gaps, and communicate investigation findings to internal and external teams
• Ability to establish project objectives, scope Arcadis work products to achieve those objectives and build teams to deliver projects.
• Experience conducting hydrogeologic investigations at mine sites
• Advanced degree in Hydrogeology, Hydrology, or related field
• Proficiency interpreting geologic conditions, aquifer hydraulics, high-resolution water level data sets
• Experience contaminant fate and transport analyses (plume, concentration profiles, etc.)
• Experience evaluating groundwater-surface water interactions
• Experience supporting mining clients across project phases (exploration to closure)
• Familiarity with inorganic/metals chemistry
• Proficiency using hydrogeologic modeling software (AQTESOLV, MODFLOW, Groundwater Vistas, HEC)
• Understanding environmental regulations to mining projects (NEPA, CERCLA, state programs)

Responsabilidades

• Apply technical knowledge to support environmental projects with emphasis on mining projects
• Represent Arcadis in client discussions and lead hydrogeologic investigations planning
• Direct teams to prepare work planning documents and data summary reports
• Interact with diverse project teams across disciplines and geographies
• Mentor mid-level staff and support project/account growth by identifying technical solutions
