Job summary

Arup is seeking a Senior Hydrogeologist / Geothermal Specialist to lead hydrogeology and geothermal work across the Americas. You will develop conceptual models, plan field investigations and deliver analyses for infrastructure, energy and buildings.

You will collaborate with mechanical, geotechnical and environmental teams, mentor junior staff, and contribute to bids, proposals and client relationships while ensuring high-quality project outcomes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Geology or related field; master's preferred.
• 6+ years in hydrogeology, groundwater or geothermal consulting.
• Experience building conceptual hydrogeological models from field data.
• Experience planning and supervising field investigations and monitoring.
• Familiarity with groundwater flow, dewatering and numerical modelling.

Responsibilities

• Lead hydrogeological assessments for infrastructure, energy, water and buildings.
• Develop conceptual models using geological and groundwater data.
• Plan and interpret groundwater field investigations and testing.
• Develop and review groundwater and geothermal calculations and reports.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and manage delivery scopes.
