Job summary

Arup, a global engineering leader, seeks a Senior Civil Engineer in San Francisco or Los Angeles to lead hydrology and hydraulic modeling for coastal resiliency and site development projects. You will guide design of utilities, drainage, and infrastructure while coordinating with multi-disciplinary teams across the Americas.

The role requires a civil engineering degree, PE preferred, and 6+ years of experience in civil/site development.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering with professional licensure preferred.
• Experience with hydrology/hydraulic modeling for site development and coastal resiliency projects.
• Strong communication and leadership to mentor teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead development of H&H models for coastal resilience and site development projects.
• Design utilities, drainage, roadways, and green infrastructure for site development nationwide.
• Serve as civil technical lead on due diligence and master planning for hyperscale clients.
