Job summary

Us Tech Solutions is seeking a Senior-level Project Manager to lead a large hydroelectric dam maintenance project from planning through execution. The role is based in the Madison General Office with travel to Prairie du Sac, WI.

You will partner with cross-functional teams, regulators, and contractors to deliver critical infrastructure, maintaining safety and compliance with PMI methodologies and FERC guidelines.

Qualifications

• 9+ years of project management experience leading large, complex projects.
• Experience in dam/marine construction, power generation, or regulated environments.

Responsibilities

• Lead complex hydroelectric dam maintenance projects using PMI-based practices across scope, schedule, cost, and risk.
• Define business needs and deliverables; establish and manage plans, resources and performance measures.
• Build project teams aligning resources to complexity and risk.
• Manage contracts in partnership with sourcing for delivery, compliance and commercial performance.
• Ensure safe, on-spec delivery and adherence to contract schedules.
• Lead stakeholder engagement and transparent status reporting with regulators, contractors and teams.
• Ensure regulatory alignment with FERC and other guidelines; coordinate reviews and deliverables.
• Prepare end users through training, readiness planning, and transition support.
• Oversee project closeout including handoff, documentation, and sustainment readiness.
• Mentor teams in project delivery and change management.
• Evaluate feasibility and business value through cost-benefit analysis and decision support.
• Support broader initiatives to improve delivery and customer service.
