Job summary

GE Vernova’s Hydro Power business seeks an experienced Contract Manager to join the North America Contract Management team, leading contractual and commercial activities on major hydro projects in British Columbia. You’ll manage contracts from bid through execution, close-out and warranty, and guide cross‑functional teams on strategic risk and opportunity.

The role requires a strong EPC/complex project background, excellent negotiation and stakeholder management, and the ability to coach less

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required in a technical or commercial discipline.
• Eight years of contract management experience in complex project environments (EPC, construction, infrastructure, energy).
• Strong understanding of the Canadian energy or infrastructure sector; experience with public utilities or similar customers.
• Excellent communication, collaboration, negotiation, and stakeholder-management skills.
• Willingness to travel ~15–25%.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end contract management from bid through execution, close-out and warranty.
• Draft, review and tailor commercial and contractual clauses per project requirements.
• Participate in negotiations and finalization of contracts, amendments and change orders.
• Coordinate notices, submissions and claims; ensure governance and traceability of decisions.
• Guide and coach junior contract management professionals and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
