Placements24 is seeking a skilled Hydraulics Engineer to design and analyze hydraulic systems for potable water and wastewater networks. The role requires hands-on site engagement and collaboration with local authorities to deliver safe, compliant infrastructure.

You will develop plans, calculations, and specs, using WaterGEMS/EPANET/InfoWorks, and oversee construction while ensuring quality and timely project delivery. A strong background in hydraulics and water treatment is essential.

Competenze

• BEng or BSc in Civil Engineering with hydraulics or water engineering specialization.
• Minimum 6 years of relevant experience in design and analysis of water and sanitation infrastructure.
• Proficiency in hydraulic modeling software (WaterGEMS/EPANET/InfoWorks) essential.
• Willingness to travel to project sites within Upington area and surrounding regions.

Mansioni

• Design and analyze hydraulic systems for potable water supply, sewer networks, and stormwater management.
• Develop detailed engineering plans, calculations, and specifications for hydraulic infrastructure.
• Utilize hydraulic modeling software (WaterGEMS, EPANET, InfoWorks ICM) for analysis and design optimization.
• Conduct feasibility studies and technical assessments for new water and sanitation projects.
