Job summary

Ellicott Dredges, LLC, based in Baltimore, MD, is seeking an Assembly Supervisor to lead a multi-discipline dredge assembly team. You will ensure safety, quality, and on-time Build flow across mechanical, electrical, hydraulic trades, and related disciplines.

The role requires hands-on manufacturing leadership, strong problem-solving, and clear communication to drive accountability, while coordinating with Production, Engineering, Quality, and Supply Chain to remove barriers and support

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 5+ years of experience in manufacturing, assembly, skilled trades, or related environment.
• Experience supervising or coordinating multiple trades strongly preferred.
• Knowledge of OSHA regulations and safety laws.

Responsibilities

• Supervise daily dredge assembly operations across multiple trades (mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, welding, painting, etc.).
• Lead, coach, and hold accountable a team of up to ~15 tradespeople.
• Plan, assign, and monitor daily work to support production schedules and quality requirements.
• Ensure timekeeping accuracy and labor reporting for the team.
• Coordinate with leads and cross-functional resources to resolve build issues.
• Drive safety, quality, and productivity while reducing rework and defects.
