Job summary

Dewberry is seeking an experienced Hydraulic and Water Resources Engineer to join our Resilience Solutions Group in Orlando, FL. This role focuses on hydraulic modeling, flood risk analysis, and water resources planning using cloud-enabled workflows and advanced methodologies.

You will lead projects for federal, state, and local clients, mentor junior engineers, and help shape the future of hydraulic modeling through probabilistic risk assessment and emerging technologies.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree or higher in civil/water resources engineering or related field.
Experience in hydraulic analyses using advanced numerical modeling software.
Professional Engineer (PE) license preferred.

Responsibilities

Lead or support hydraulic analysis projects across municipal, state, and federal markets.
Develop and implement advanced hydraulic and flood risk analysis approaches.
Model riverine systems, floodplains, bridges, culverts, and hydraulic structures.
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams for integrated project delivery.
Mentor junior engineers and promote best practices in modeling.
