Job summary

Hengli America, a leading hydraulic solutions supplier, seeks a senior Hydraulic Application Engineer III to lead complex hydraulic and electrohydraulic systems engineering. You will drive architecture, selection, testing, and high-value application strategies for OEMs and distributors, mentoring teams while expanding our technical footprint in the Americas.

You will collaborate with Sales, Quality, Manufacturing, and R&D, traveling to customer sites and tradeshows as needed to deliver solutions

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical, agricultural, fluid power, mechatronics, or related field; equivalent education may be considered.
• Expert competence in hydraulic and electrohydraulic systems and components.
• Advanced troubleshooting, FMEA, and design validation experience.
• Excellent written, verbal, and customer-facing communication skills.
• Willingness to travel and ability to influence OEM engineers and customers.

Responsibilities

• Serve as senior technical authority for complex hydraulic applications and advise on architecture and risk.
• Lead product sizing, configuration, integration, and validation across Hengli product families.
• Manage OEM/distributor/customer relationships and conduct high-level technical reviews and negotiations.
• Define disciplined discovery for complex applications, ensuring complete requirements before commitment.
• Partner with Sales on strategic opportunities through technical proposals and demonstrations.
• Lead post-sale troubleshooting, root-cause analysis, and corrective-action strategies.
• Coordinate cross-functional efforts across Sales, Quality, Manufacturing, R&D, and China-based resources.
