Job summary

Consumers Energy is seeking a Project Scheduler to plan and monitor EPC project schedules, coordinating with engineering, procurement and construction teams. The role requires Primavera P6 proficiency, strong communication, and a background in engineering, construction management, or business.

The position is hybrid with onsite days on Monday, Tuesday and Thursday at the Parnall Office in Jackson, MI, with relocation options for qualified candidates.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or Business with 2 years of experience or equivalent.
• Associate's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or Business with 4 years of experience or equivalent.
• High School Diploma with 6 years of experience in applied planning and schedule engineering or equivalent working experience.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain resource-loaded and cost-loaded project schedules to support workforce planning, forecasting, budget management, and project execution.
• Create and maintain detailed project schedules for the full Life Cycle of a project, collecting quantities and updating forecasts.
• Support project management through preparation and maintenance of schedule forecasts and project schedules.
• Generate visual management reports, charts and tables for project analysis.
• Interface with cross-functional teams to provide scheduling data for sub contracts, bids, new work estimates, and problem resolution.
