Job summary

Qualifications

• 7 or more years of experience on underground transmission projects.
• Experience with cost estimate development and schedule creation.
• Knowledge of design techniques, tools, and principles for technical plans.

Responsibilities

• Design underground transmission lines for voltages up to 500kV.
• Responsible for cost analyses and development of design criteria.
• Work and coordinate with vendors and clients for transmission line components.

Skills

Proficiency with CYMCAP modeling

Proficiency with cable tensioning calculations and/or software

Excellent written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills

Attention to detail

Experience with XLPE cable design

Education

BS degree from an ABET-accredited engineering program
