Qualifications

• Proficiency with cable tensioning calculations and software.
• Design experience incorporating code requirements and client requirements.
• Knowledge of design techniques and tools for technical plans and drawings.

Responsibilities

• Design of complex underground transmission lines for voltages up to 500kV.
• Responsible for cost analyses and development of design criteria.
• Direct project team of engineers, designers, and drafters.

Skills

Proficiency with CYMCAP modeling

12 or more years of experience leading a design team

Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills

Attention to detail

Education

BS degree from an ABET-accredited engineering program

Current PE License
