A leading engineering firm in Charlotte is seeking an experienced engineer to design underground transmission lines. The role offers a hybrid work arrangement and a generous relocation package. Candidates should have a degree in engineering, a PE license, and extensive experience in underground transmission projects. The compensation ranges from $131,960 to $205,330 annually, and the position includes a comprehensive benefits package.

Formación

• Proficiency with cable tensioning calculations and software.
• Design experience incorporating code requirements and client requirements.
• Knowledge of design techniques and tools for technical plans and drawings.

Responsabilidades

• Design of complex underground transmission lines for voltages up to 500kV.
• Responsible for cost analyses and development of design criteria.
• Direct project team of engineers, designers, and drafters.

Conocimientos

Proficiency with CYMCAP modeling

12 or more years of experience leading a design team

Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills

Attention to detail

Educación

BS degree from an ABET-accredited engineering program
