Qualifications

• 3–5 years of contract surety underwriting experience.
• Ability to assess risk and approve bonds within authority.
• Strong financial statement review and credit analysis skills.

Responsibilities

• Underwrite contract surety bonds per guidelines and assess risk.
• Manage daily bid and final bond requests for assigned territory.
• Review new contract bond submissions for completeness and compliance.
• Approve bonds within authority, using sound underwriting judgment.
• Analyze financial statements and audits to monitor accounts.
• Maintain credit documents and strengthen agency relationships.
• Drive premium growth through market knowledge and client focus.
• Provide quarterly updates to leadership and participate in special projects.
• Represent the team at regional meetings with professionalism.
