Seneca Resources is seeking a Backend Engineer to join a hybrid team in Vienna, VA / Pensacola, FL on a contract basis. The role focuses on building secure, scalable backend services and APIs using Java, Spring Boot, and cloud technologies.

The engineer will design, develop, test, and maintain enterprise-grade backend applications, with emphasis on performance, reliability, and secure engineering practices.

Qualificações

• Strong professional experience in Java backend development (Java 17+ preferred).
• Proficiency with Spring Framework, Spring Boot, RESTful APIs, and web services.
• Hands-on testing with JUnit and Mockito; familiar with TDD approaches.
