Job summary

Zillion Technologies Inc. is seeking a mid-to-senior Backend Java Developer to design, build, test, and maintain backend services for digital banking platforms.

You will partner with analysts, QA, frontend engineers, and cross-functional teams to deliver secure, scalable, and reliable solutions. This role requires strong engineering judgment, independent work, and the ability to guide less experienced engineers while focusing on secure, scalable, and maintainable systems.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in Java 17+ and backend design
• Strong experience with Spring/Spring Boot and RESTful APIs
• Experience with automated tests (JUnit/Mockito)
• Cloud experience, Azure preferred
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
