Job summary

Leidos is seeking a highly skilled Hybrid Multi-Cloud Engineer SME to support DoD cloud modernization projects in Fort Belvoir, VA or Albuquerque, NM. The role requires designing, engineering, implementing, and sustaining secure Microsoft Azure cloud solutions within classified enterprise environments.

The candidate will lead hybrid cloud architectures, enterprise identity management, and Zero Trust implementations, while maintaining hands-on engineering throughout the lifecycle.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline with 12–15 years of relevant DoD/cloud experience.
• Active TS/SCI clearance at time of hire.
• Current DoD 8570/8140 IAT Level II certification.
• Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert.
• 5+ years designing and implementing Microsoft Azure enterprise cloud solutions.
• Experience with Entra ID governance and hybrid identity management.
• Experience building Azure Landing Zones and CAF/Well-Architected frameworks.

Responsibilities

• Architect, design, engineer, and implement secure Microsoft Azure cloud solutions for DoD missions.
• Deploy green-field Azure environments and hybrid architectures linking on-prem with Azure services.
• Design and maintain enterprise hybrid identity using Entra ID, Entra Connect, AD, and related technologies.
• Implement PAM, ABAC/RBAC, and Zero Trust security controls across cloud workloads.
• Create IaC with Terraform, Bicep, and ARM Templates; manage networking with ExpressRoute, VPN, and Azure Firewall.
• Support ATO activities and ensure compliance with RMF, STIGs, and DoD cybersecurity policies.
• Produce architecture diagrams, implementation guides, and technical documentation.
