Job summary

RTX in Tucson, AZ seeks an Electrical Engineer to design and test electrical components and systems for aerospace applications. You will work onsite to develop hardware and verify performance against specifications, including FPGA work where needed.

The role requires a STEM degree with extensive design and analysis experience, proficiency with tooling, and the ability to obtain a U.S. security clearance. On-site work only in Tucson, AZ.

Qualifications

• STEM degree with 5+ years of relevant experience.
• Design, troubleshooting, analysis, and test from circuit card to systems level.
• Experience with electrical design tools such as Altium, DX Designer, Mentor Capital, Creo Schematic, Xilinx Vivado, or equivalents.
• Experience with test equipment (Oscilloscopes, DMMs, Network Analyzers, Power Meters).
• Ability to obtain and maintain a US security clearance; US citizenship required; on-site only.

Responsibilities

• Researches, develops, designs, and tests electrical components, equipment, systems, and networks.
• Designs electrical equipment and systems for commercial, industrial, and domestic use and produces products to specifications.
• Includes circuit theory, computer design and development, instrumentation, radio communications, semiconductors, solid state devices, and television systems.
