Job summary

RTX is seeking an electrical engineer for onsite work in Tucson, AZ. You will research, design, and test electrical components and systems for commercial and defense applications, ensuring quality and cost efficiency. A STEM degree with 5+ years of experience is expected, along with proficiency in Altium and FPGA toolchains.

Qualifications

• Requires STEM degree with at least 5 years of relevant experience.
• Experience in electrical engineering design, troubleshooting, analysis, and test.
• Proficient with Altium, DX Designer, Mentor Capital, Creo Schematic, Xilinx Vivado.
• Experience with oscilloscopes, DMMs, Network Analyzers, Power Meters.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a US security clearance; US citizenship required; remote work not allowed.

Responsibilities

• Researches, develops, designs, and tests electrical components, equipment, systems, and networks.
• Designs electrical equipment, facilities, components, products, and systems for various purposes; ensures cost-effective production and analyzes components.
• Includes circuit theory, computer design, instrumentation, radio communications, semiconductor devices, and TV systems.
