Job summary

RTX in Tucson, AZ is seeking a Hardware-in-the-Loop (HWIL) specialist to design, build and integrate state-of-the-art testing environments for missiles. This 100% on-site role supports tactical software development, testing and delivery for missiles to the warfighter.

The team collaborates with weapon system designers to meet requirements, deploy systems, and enable testing prior to flight. A DoD Secret clearance and U.S. citizenship are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or Software Engineering.
• This position requires 12 months or less of professional experience (excluding internships).
• Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance prior to start date. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.

Responsibilities

• Work on a multi-disciplined team to support systems integration.
• Support troubleshooting and failure data analyses, including root cause and corrective action processes and advanced use of lab or field test equipment
• Work in a lab environment integrating software, firmware and hardware in support of complex systems
