Job summary

Dallas Parks is seeking an HVAC Technician III to install, maintain, and repair complex HVAC equipment across City of Dallas facilities. The role leads Technicians I and II, and acts as a backup to supervision while delivering safe and efficient service.

The position requires five years of HVAC experience, EPA 608 Universal Certification, and a valid driver's license. Availability includes night/weekend shifts with overtime as needed.

Qualifications

• Expert knowledge of heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems, equipment, and repair tools.
• Ability to operate hand and portable power tools used in HVAC installation and repair.
• Ability to read and comprehend technical descriptions and plans.
• Advanced knowledge of electrical/mechanical codes related to HVAC installation and repairs.

Responsibilities

• Installs, maintains, and repairs complex HVAC equipment in City facilities.
• Troubleshoots electrical components and controls and guides junior staff in repairs.
• Performs preventive maintenance and repairs on HVAC/refrigeration equipment.
• Trains Apprentices and Technicians, leads complex projects and responds to emergencies.
