Job summary

Heating + Air Paramedics North Dallas is seeking a Lead HVAC Technician to diagnose, maintain, repair, and install HVAC systems on service calls. You will guide a technician helper, ensure safe practices, and deliver high-quality work while supporting owner-led growth.

You will work closely with the owner and Technical Compliance Manager to shape service standards, train the team, and build lasting relationships with customers through proactive communication and reliability.

Qualifications

• Minimum three years of HVAC service and repair experience; five+ preferred.
• Strong technical knowledge of HVAC installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair.
• EPA Section 608 certification appropriate to the equipment serviced; Universal certification preferred.
• Valid driver’s license with a driving record that meets company requirements.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, maintain, repair, and install HVAC systems, including air conditioners, furnaces, heat pumps, and ventilation equipment.
• Independently run service calls, identify problems, and complete repairs.
• Coach a technician helper while performing fieldwork and ensure safety procedures.
• Document diagnostics, work performed, parts used, and recommendations in ServiceTitan.
• Lead by example with customer care, accountability, and clear communication.
