Job summary

Jay Peak is seeking a Senior HVAC Technician to support the safe installation and maintenance of all commercial grade HVAC and hydronic systems at our Vermont resort. The role emphasizes hands-on work, safety, and collaboration with other departments to ensure equipment reliability and energy efficiency.

The ideal candidate has five to ten years of related experience in commercial HVAC, is adept at diagnosing issues, and can coordinate with contractors and internal teams.

Qualifications

• Minimum of five to ten years of related commercial grade experience and/or training.
• Ability to read, analyze and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations.

Responsibilities

• The Senior HVAC Technician assists in the safe installation and maintenance of all commercial grade HVAC & associated hydronic systems.
• Troubleshoots, diagnoses, and repairs commercial air conditioning and multi-zone heating and cooling systems.
• Coordinates with contractors, subcontractors, vendors, and outside service providers for HVAC-related repairs, maintenance, inspections, installations, and project work.
