Job summary

Thermosystems, LLC is seeking an HVAC Technician to maintain HVAC equipment, perform on-site start-ups, and diagnose complex system issues. The role includes repairing equipment, wiring, and performing advanced diagnostics for CATI and CATII equipment, with emphasis on safety and accuracy.

The technician will educate customers on proper use and maintenance, and will work with the owner’s representatives to ensure systems are configured and tested correctly.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or certificate in Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning required.
• 5+ years related experience; or 7+ related experience; or equivalent education/experience.
• Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record; state licenses/certifications as required.
• EPA Universal Technician Certification required as necessary.

Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance of HVAC equipment and on-site start-up procedures.
• Repair and replace defective equipment, components, or wiring.
• Independent diagnostics, troubleshooting, pipefitting, and brazing of CATI/CATI equipment.
• Program new control systems using touchscreens and computers.
• Document actions on the jobsite for project reports and communicate status to customers.
• Direct discussions with building owners for ongoing maintenance and service.
