Job summary

Lone Star College is seeking an HVAC Technician III to monitor, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair HVAC systems across campus facilities. The role emphasizes safe, comfortable environments for students and staff, with collaboration on special projects and SOP implementation across units.

The position requires a high school diploma or GED, EPA 608 Universal certification, a Texas Technician license, and 5+ years of experience. On-site work across campuses is expected.

Qualifications

• Must have 5+ years of HVAC maintenance experience.
• EPA 608 certification is required.
• Texas technician certification (TDLR) is required.

Responsibilities

• Maintains HVAC systems across campus facilities.
• Diagnoses and repairs HVAC components and controls.
• Performs preventive maintenance to extend equipment life.
• Monitors energy management systems for efficiency.
• Ensures compliance with safety and environmental regulations.
• Collaborates with vendors for major installations.
