Qualifications

• Requires a high school diploma or GED and several years of HVAC maintenance experience.
• EPA 608 Certification or ability to obtain within 6 months.
• Strong knowledge of HVAC systems, controls, and safety regulations.
• Able to read technical plans and manuals.

Responsibilities

• Maintains physical plant heating and cooling equipment and pneumatic controls.
• Troubleshoots for damaged components and repairs with minimal downtime.
• Inspects HVAC systems for condition and recommends preventive maintenance.
• Repairs and installs HVAC equipment and related components.
• Performs preventive maintenance on equipment.
• Responds to emergencies after hours as needed.
