Job summary

Garrett - Advancing Motion is seeking a senior system engineer to lead HVAC system design for centrifugal oil-free compressors. You will drive top-down system performance requirements, engage with OEMs and customers, and influence product strategy through deep system expertise.

You will develop multi-compressor configurations, assess cascade/hybrid setups, and ensure design-for-compliance with UL, CE, IEC, and ISO.

Qualifications

• Bachelor or Master degree in Mechanical, Thermal, or related Engineering field.
• 15+ years of experience in HVAC systems and cooling system design.
• System-level experience: architecture and integration of complete cooling installations.

Responsibilities

• Act as system leadership and engage with OEMs and key customers.
• Develop optimized HVAC system configurations and architectures including multi-compressor setups.
• Optimize system performance, energy efficiency, and total cost of ownership across installations.
• Lead certification and compliance activities (UL, CE, IEC, ISO) early in development.
