Job summary

Garrett is seeking a system-level HVAC leader to drive the development and deployment of a next-generation centrifugal oil-free compressor portfolio, reporting to the Engineering Director. You will act as a trusted technical authority for OEMs and customers, define top-down system requirements, and guide architecture for complete cooling installations in data centers, warehouses and industrial facilities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor or Master degree in Mechanical, Thermal, or related Engineering field.
• Extensive HVAC systems and cooling system design experience (15+ years).
• Experience with system-level architecture and integration of complete cooling installations.
• Strong knowledge of energy-efficient system design and refrigerant regulations.

Responsibilities

• Act as a trusted technical authority for OEMs, integrators, and key customers.
• Define and drive top-down system performance requirements for complete cooling installations.
• Lead system-level analysis and architecture for cooling installations including data centers, warehouses, and industrial facilities.
• Develop optimized HVAC configurations including multi-compressor architectures and cascade/hybrid systems.
• Lead certification and compliance activities (UL, CE, IEC, ISO).
